California Garlic Festival Aug 30, 31 & Sept 1 in Los Banos

The California Garlic Festival will be at the Merced County Spring Fairgrounds on August 30, 31 & September 1, 2024. The wholesome family fun event is focused on local entertainment, community leadership, and the Valley’s vast agriculture.

The California Garlic Festival has something for everyone! The three-day family-friendly event will feature Monster Truck Shows, Live Entertainment, Carnival, Fresh Cooked Garlic Delicacies, Lots of Vendors, Scholarship Pageant, Princess Program and More!

On Saturday, the Miss California Garlic Festival Scholarship Pageant will crown the 2024 Miss California Garlic Festival. On Sunday, the Princesses will showcase their smiles in the California Garlic Festival Princess Pageant. The cooking demonstration stage will be packed with talented chefs cooking up all things with delicious garlic! But before you end your day of fun, if you are willing to be adventurous and daring, Monster Truck Madness is returning, offering Monster Truck rides for just $10.00 a person (purchase at monster truck ride), as well as Monster Truck Shows in the Arena on Friday and Saturday starting at 5:30pm. The Midway of Fun is sure to bring excitement to the whole family with their array of amusement rides and games along with good ole fashion carnival food! Brass Ring Amusement’s Midway of Fun is a family owned and operated carnival business which has served the California Fair industry since 1991. Their goal is to provide you an exciting carnival experience for those both young and young at heart that focuses on providing the following items, all which encompass our values of safety, honesty in entertainment, incredible customer service, and affordability.

There will be plenty of seating and cooling misters throughout the venue while you enjoy music and delectable dishes. Attendees can choose from countless garlic dishes from festival food vendors, PAST dishes have been Garlic Noodles, Garlic Wings, Garlic Sausage, Garlic Popcorn, Garlic Grilled Cheese, Garlic Catfish, Garlic Shrimp, Garlic Hot Sauce for Fruit Cups, Black Garlic Peeled Cloves, Gourmet Garlic Spreads and More! (2024 Dishes will be announced as soon as vendor selections have been made)

But wait, we saved the best part for last! You won't want to miss out on our Cali Garlic Alley! We will will be offering the BEST Garlic French Fries, SCRUMPTIOUS Garlic Maple Brown Sugar Ice Cream – perfect for a hot Summer day, the always DELICIOUS Garlic Mushroom and Onion Bread Bowl, and the FAMOUS Garlic Pesto Pasta. Yummy in our tummy! You surely won't leave hungry!

Festival hours are 12pm-10pm all 3 days!
